Your best interests are the priority of everyone who works with us
In a modern world of big business and corporate companies it is sometimes difficult to maintain the personal touch and give the service that was once expected from everyone. Bexley Funeral Service try to preserve that standard that was set by our predecessors. To that end, our staff are all local residents who know the local traditions and are familiar with the Bexley, Kent Churches and Clergy. It helps us to help you when you are arranging a funeral service for someone special and who is dear to you.
Donna has worked in the funeral industry since 2015, starting as a Funeral Service Operative, driving the fleet and bearing on all funerals. She then joined Bexley Funeral Service in April 2017 as a Funeral Director.
She came into the industry from a very different background. The prison service for 4 years and before that 20 years in the Metropolitan Police.
She a wife and a mum to 15 year old twins and lives locally in the area. Her hobbies are walking and bike riding.
She says “I always ensure that I’m involved in many local charitable events including mothering Sunday balloon release and St Christopher’s bluebell walk.”
Karen has been with Bexley Funeral Service since 2016, having previously worked in retail management and after having children working part time as a Teaching Assistant. She enjoys doing the best she can for the families that walk through our doors at the most vulnerable times in their lives. Supporting them and seeing them through difficult times.
She say “It’s such a rewarding career working with like-minded people with big hearts that want to make a difference. More rewarding than any salary could ever give. I love my job.”
She says “I live in Gravesend with my partner and three grown up children and lots of animals including my gorgeous dog. My family are my world and I enjoy being a mum and spending time with friends and family. I also attend a spiritualist church – weekly – and help out with fundraising actives.”
She enjoys spending time walking the dog, reading, watching films, jet skiing, cooking and entertaining, socialising and going to the cinema.
